Tom’s career began in the aerospace industry working for Continental Airlines. During an eleven-year period, Tom quickly rose through the organization to become manager of maintenance operations for the airline. In this position, Tom led a 16- member task force whose goal was to develop guidelines governing more than 7000 individual maintenance tasks, equipment requirements, inspection items, safety requirements and FAA regulatory compliance rules. His efforts saved the airline over 51 million dollars the first year of his tenure.
After his tenure with Continental Airlines, Tom made the career decision to start his own custom home building business which he has run for over 20 years. During this time, he has built over 160 homes ranging in value from $500,000 to $10 Million in value. The experience and skills that Tom acquired while working at both Continental Airlines and as a large custom luxury home builder have prepared him well for his role at BUILDITECT. He has great people management skills, is an astute negotiator, strategic thinker and problem solver.
